Worship Ministry
The purest expression of the reality of our satisfaction in God is our passionate worship of Him. We believe we are drawn into an experience of worship by seeing God as He has revealed Himself in the Bible, and by gratefully responding to His transforming work in our lives.
"Come, let us sing for joy to the Lord; let us shout aloud to the Rock of our salvation. Come let us bow down in worship, let us kneel before the Lord our Maker; for He is our God and we are people of His pasture, the flock under His care." (Psalm 95:1, 6-7)
At CrossWay we are deeply committed to glorifying God in our worship, both in our corporate meetings and in all of life. As a result we devote an extended period of time to singing to God during our Sunday morning service, and we work to keep that time free from distractions. The songs we sing are chosen to facilitate the corporate expression of our personal relationship with God, and we draw from a variety of traditions. Songs are selected because they are biblically and theologically accurate and musically enjoyable.
At CrossWay we acknowledge that we can do nothing to make people worship God; we can only remind them of our reason to worship Him, and then provide them the opportunity to do so.
The following is a sample of the songs we sing at CrossWay.
