Introduction

History: I, David, am a “village” boy whereas my wife, Yulia, is a “big city” girl hailing from Minsk, the capital city of the former communist country of Belarus, (population 3 million whereas my “village” has a population of 300!!). We lived and ministered in Tirana, capitol of the Muslim country of Albania. With the expansion of our responsibilities to include the rest of Eastern Europe and Russia (again focusing on Muslim areas), we recently moved to the country of Hungary. We have two sons, Tosha (Russian for Tony), born January 2007 and Evan (Hebrew for Rock) born November 2008.
Place of Service: We are trusting the Lord to raise up leaders in the context of our Campus Crusade for Christ International (CCCI) ministry and in the local church by training up believers in 18 countries of Eastern Europe (Albania, Macedonia, Hungary, Bosnia, Serbia, Croatia, Kosovo, Russia, Belarus, Ukraine, Poland, Romania, Moldova, Czech Republic, Slovak Republic, Slovenia, Georgia, and one other that cannot be listed in print). We train individually through one-on-one personal mentoring and in groups through training courses at four different levels (first, lay leaders at Bible Institute level; second, full-time national missionaries with CCC and pastors at a Bible college level. (This involves a 12 course curriculum in Bible and Theology.); third, national leaders in leadership positions at a near seminary level (7 course curriculum and mentoring); and fourth, full-time national missionaries and pastors at seminary level (those who are particularly gifted to teach).
Purpose and Vision: We are committed to equipping full-time national missionaries and lay volunteers, especially in the Muslim areas of Eastern Europe and Russia through teaching, training, and discipleship to be passionate followers of Jesus Christ, Christ-like leaders of men, and effective missionaries in building movements that reach their perspective countries for Christ.
Our Motivation: Display of God’s Empowering, Sovereign Grace
God’s grace is all the more magnified, and His glory all the more increased when He uses the weak, the insignificant, (like poor people of Albania, Yulia, and especially myself) to accomplish His glorious purposes, the reaching of over 1 billion Muslims with the good news of Jesus Christ! Why? “My Utmost for His Highest!” (Phil. 1:21, Sanders)
