(January 23 & 30) God will not withhold good from you Psalm 84:11 For the LORD God is a sun and shield; the LORD bestows favor and honor. No good thing does he withhold from those who walk uprightly. (February 6 & 13) God will strengthen you Isaiah 40:29-31 He gives power to the faint, and to him who has no might he increases strength. Even youths shall faint and be weary, and young men shall fall exhausted; but they who wait for the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles; they shall run and not be weary; they shall walk and not faint. (February 20 & 27) God will be with you in the hard times Isaiah 41:10 Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand. (March 6 & 13) God will be faithful to the end Isaiah 46:4 Even to your old age I am he, and to gray hairs I will carry you. I have made, and I will bear; I will carry and will save. Isaiah 46:9-10 I am God, and there is no other; I am God, and there is none like me, declaring the end from the beginning and from ancient times things not yet done, saying, "My counsel shall stand, and I will accomplish all my purpose" Lamentations 3:22-23 The steadfast love of the LORD never ceases; his mercies never come to an end; they are new every morning; great is your faithfulness. (April 17 & 24) God will not bring any unnecessary suffering into your life Lamentations 3:32-33 But, though he cause grief, he will have compassion according to the abundance of his steadfast love; for he does not willingly afflict or grieve the children of men. (May 1 & 8) God will give you rest Matthew 11:28-29 Come to me, all who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. (May 15 & 22) God will take you to heaven John 14:2-3 In my Father's house are many rooms. If it were not so, would I have told you that I go to prepare a place for you? And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and will take you to myself, that where I am you may be also. (May 29 & June 5) The Holy Spirit will be with you John 14:16 And I will ask the Father, and he will give you another Helper, to be with you forever (June 12 & 19) God will answer your prayers John 15:7 If you abide in me, and my words abide in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be done for you. (June 26 & July 3) God works all things for your good Romans 8:28 And we know that for those who love God all things work together for good, for those who are called according to his purpose. (July 10 & 17) God will provide all your needs Romans 8:32 He who did not spare his own Son but gave him up for us all, how will he not also with him graciously give us all things? (July 24 & 31) Romans 8:33-34 Who shall bring any charge against God's elect? It is God who justifies. Who is to condemn? Christ Jesus is the one who died-more than that, who was raised-who is at the right hand of God, who indeed is interceding for us. (August 7 & 14) Nothing can separate you from God's love Romans 8:38-39 For I am sure that neither death nor life, nor angels nor rulers, nor things present nor things to come, nor powers, nor height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord. (August 21 & 28) God will help you escape temptation 1 Corinthians 10:13 No temptation has overtaken you that is not common to man. God is faithful, and he will not let you be tempted beyond your ability, but with the temptation he will also provide the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it. (September 4 & 11) God will prosper your labor 1 Corinthians 15:58 Therefore, my beloved brothers, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that in the Lord your labor is not in vain. (September 18 & 25) God will give you peace Philippians 4:6-7 Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. (October 2 & 9) God will provide all your needs Philippians 4:19 And my God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus. (October 16 & 23) God will sanctify you completely 1 Thessalonians 5:23-24 Now may the God of peace himself sanctify you completely, and may your whole spirit and soul and body be kept blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. He who calls you is faithful; he will surely do it. Hebrews 13:5-6 Keep your life free from love of money, and be content with what you have, for he has said, "I will never leave you nor forsake you." So we can confidently say, "The Lord is my helper; I will not fear; what can man do to me?" (November 13 & 20) God will give you wisdom James 1:5 If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask God, who gives generously to all without reproach, and it will be given him. (November 27 & December 4) God rewards those who persevere James 1:12 Blessed is the man who remains steadfast under trial, for when he has stood the test he will receive the crown of life, which God has promised to those who love him. 1 John 1:9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. |
